Simplicity

Simplicity

There is beauty in simplicity. I think the beauty of this photo is that it is rather simple. Walking through Biograd, Croatia, I noticed a flowering bush. It was near an unspectacular gray house that wasn’t that well-kept. I stopped and started taking photos of the flowers. Water Lilies

Water Lilies

Cartoons often show frogs sitting on a lily pad. I don’t know if they do this in real life, but water lilies do have a certain intrigue and beauty about them. Grønsalen

Grønsalen

I always try to respect sacred ground, even if it is from an ancient religion or from a people with a different belief system than I have. It makes me wonder how similar their lives were and think of how different their lives were to mine.

Daisies for example. Daisies remind me of a good friend from college. We don’t see each other often, but whenever I see a daisy I think of her. It’s nice to have little reminder like that. It’s also a reminder to reach out to your friends and family, even if it is just a quick hello. That is at least how I treat these reminders.
