The Ahr Valley in Germany is known for its dramatic landscape and its wines. This picture is of a winery in the town of Altenahr. In the low November sun the colored windows were shining brightly and was a nice contrast to the brick.
I took this at the beginning of a nice walk along the Ahr River, so I have good memories associated with it. While the nice colors came through, the brightness that the sun’s light caused was not fully captured. I think the picture still captures the general impression of the moment.
