I’m a city person, but I do enjoy getting away and being in nature…as long as I can return to a shower and clean bed in the evening. When in nature, I am always fascinated at how simple things are, how different life is, and how we take so much like technology for granted. I took this picture while hiking in Norway. There was a heard of goats just chillin’ on the mountains that form the side of the Geiranger Fjord. It was striking at how different they live, and the farmers life is from mine.
The angle was hard to get, as I was on a narrow trail. I was also facing the sun, which means the exposure was hard to get right. Looking back, I should have used a smaller aperture, around 8. I did try to bring out the background in Lightroom using the tint and remove haze functions.
