Context is important. It can be the difference between an insult and a joke. It can warp the perception of an event. I have been thinking a lot about context, given the tense mood in society right now. Pictures are misused, facts are misconstrued.
I don’t know why the arrow and 14 were written on these steps. I have some assumptions, but my guess is as good as your. But with this zoomed in picture there is no context. And I like this picture with no context. For this reason, I am not going to write about where I was when I took this or what I was doing. I am going to leave it open for interpretation.
