Berlin B&W (4/5)

Berlin B&W 4

Any place where people come to a crossroads interest me: Time Square, airports, train stations. I wonder what the people have in common, where they are going, what their story is.

My story on this day was rather mundane. After a nice weekend in Berlin, the train back was cancelled and there was some time to kill. Berlin Hauptbahnhof is a large, modern glass building. Excellent opportunities for photography.

I like this picture because of the contrast, the pattern of the building and the lines of the escalators. The people waiting to get where they need to be. What are their stories? Will we ever cross paths again?
