Door to Pac Man

Did you ever what was behind a door? A nice home? Adventure? Horrors? The Pac Man ghost graffiti drew my eye to this doorway in Nancy, France. Then I noticed the colors, which to me seemed to not fit in with the building as a whole. The colors are worn in a way that almost looks as if it were intended. The graffiti looks as if it belongs there. I assume that the graffiti is just random. But what if it means something? Is Pac Man behind this door?

I did more editing to this photo than I usually do. I removed an ugly metal box and pipe. I boosted up the colors slightly. I usually try not to explicitly edit things out of a picture. And that would be wrong if I were trying to depict an actual scene in the context of photojournalism. But in this picture the scene inspired an idea for a photograph and I was able to realize it with the combination of my camera and photoshop.
